Application deadline for the Environmental Management and Circular Economy (GECA) 2019 Master Course is November 12, 2018.
Launched January 1996, the MSc Environmental Management has evolved to improve the management of municipal waste, reduce the environmental impacts of our production and consumption and to manage the transition towards a circular economy. To better meet the demands of UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, governments, businesses and the European Commission expect urban authorities to involve all stakeholders from the design of products to its re-use benefiting both the economy and the environment including the participation of citizens and communities.
This GECA 2019 program provides professionals and managers with the multidisciplinary knowledge and skills to manage the transition towards a circular economy strategy. Combining economic and environmental analyses with an emphasis on waste management, this program addresses the interdependencies within the energy landscape and its connections with resource scarcity issues.
710-hour program on Green Management & Circular Economy will be taught through face-to-face interactions from January – July 2019. A 480-hour internship is required. Students are also required to develop a project that relates to the internship experience.
As a rich resource of marketplace connection, faithful alumni and experts will give back to the program providing relevant knowledge and expertise to guide the future Circular Economy managers and ease the transition between the classroom and the workplace.
Tuition fee is 8.000,00 euros. 9 scholarships are offered by partners Acque, ASCIT, AVR, Barricalla, Belvedere, Bulgari, Revet, Sis.Ter, and Viscolube to qualified students. 9 scholarships are offered by INPS to sons and daughters of deceased or retired public employees.
